Confidentiality
An important obligation of counselors is to maintain the confidentiality of relationships
with students. Therefore, the confidentiality of information received, and of any written
or pupil records, is safeguarded. The counselor is obliged not to disclose information
that a student has shared within the context of the counseling relationship, unless such
disclosures are necessary to protect the student from posing a serious threat to him or
herself or to others.

Counseling Goals
Welcome to the School Counseling Department! Our team of dedicated counselors is here to
support students in achieving their full potential in three key areas: social/emotional well-being,
academic success, and college and career readiness.
● Social/Emotional Support: We understand that personal challenges can impact a
student's ability to thrive. Our counselors are available to provide a safe space for
students to discuss their feelings, manage stress, and develop healthy coping strategies.
● Academic Guidance: Whether it's navigating course selections, improving study habits,
or overcoming academic obstacles, our counselors work closely with students to help
them stay on track and reach their academic goals.
● College and Career Readiness: Planning for the future is an exciting journey, and our
counselors are here to assist with every step. From exploring career interests to
navigating the college application process, we provide the guidance and resources
needed to prepare students for life after high school.
Our goal is to empower students to succeed in all aspects of their lives. We are committed to
fostering a supportive environment where each student can grow, learn, and prepare for a bright
future.
